To promote literacy and lifelong learning across the province, we offer one-on-one guidance for our adult students to help them reach their literacy goals.
Volunteer tutors receive training from volunteer trainers on the Laubach Way to Read. Here, tutors learn techniques and strategies to use with students. They also receive workbooks and lesson plans to use in tutoring sessions.
Tutors are paired up with literacy learners. These tutor-student pairs work together in libraries, classrooms and kitchens across the province.
